Well, whether or not the show is renewed for a new season we get a cliffhanger.
Question: I need a Body of Proof scoop. I’ll take anything, really. —Patricia
Ausiello: Bubble status be damned, producers are ending the season on a cliffhanger. “There will be blood,” reveals EP Matthew Gross, “and it will belong to one of our series regulars.” Crikey!
So you guys know, all of season 1 episodes (there were four left) have aired already. From now on we’ll see episodes shoot from the second season.
Question: Do you have any Body of Proof scoop? —Chloe
Ausiello: Although it was weeks ago that Battlestar Galactica studmuffin Jamie Bamber was cast as Dana Delany’s new love interest, he still hasn’t seen a script. But this much he can share: “I play a blue-collar construction worker who Megan [knew] in the past.” At the moment, Bamber is slated to appear in the final three episodes of the show’s current 13-episode order (which doesn’t include a handful of Season 1 leftovers). “And if they get a back-nine,” he adds, “it would potentially develop into more from there.”
New spoilers, but this time not ours haha.
Trauma actor Cliff Curtis is joining the cast of ABC’s Dana Delany-led midseason drama Body of Proof in a recurring capacity, sources confirm to me exclusively. Curtis — who also appeared in The Last Airbender as the evil Fire Lord Ozai — will play Derek Ames, a top forensic consultant for the FBI and a potential love interest for Delany’s divorced medical examiner.
ABC has yet to assign a premiere date for Proof. The procedural was originally set to air on Fridays at 9 pm, but the network delayed its launch in order to find a stronger time slot.
Yes, you read it right there. Spoilers up to episode eleven right here, gathered by us. Spoilers for some episodes are missing but this is what we got, which we’re only posting here and our sister sites, as those are the only sites we’ll share them.
I’ll post them behind a cut so that those of you who want to be unspoiled won’t read them.
